We know that PVC fittings need injection molding machine and pipe fitting mould, but for long PVC pipes, it needs pipe extruding machine (pipe extruder).

PVC pipe extruder have the similar operating principle with injection molding machine, it heat up the plastic raw material, and inject the molten material into plastic mould. But pipe extruder is longer than injection machine according to the pipe size.

Extruder have several screw types, PVC pipe extruder usually use conical twin-screw, because twin-screw bring less heat from friction, it make shear force more evenly; it have large conveyor capacity with stable extrusion, and the material well mixed in machine barrel.
